Lady Contests
Beauty contests organised by MBM with the goal of empowering the deaf women in India.
Various competitions like Miss Deaf, Deaf cooking, Deaf beauty, etc. Many deaf women are participating since years and win prices too. Hearing people are surprised to see number of awards and under various categories won by them. Such competitions encourage them and keep them engaged in terms of maintaining their skills, income generation, passing to the future generation, etc.
